mahogany with maple and cherry inlay. Sorry about the picture quality, but the box is already in the mail to my dad, so I can’t get new pictures.

It’s a wonderful box, and your father will be really happy.
I don’t know why this sliding lit are not used so much any more, it’s elegant, and it takes no expensive hardware, so it closes for free, and only by the use of wood.
How is it jointed, is it dovetails I see?
