Mudroom addition

This project is finally done. Much thanks to the LJ that gave insights on many aspects, include selection of cypress (I did use it for the top and drawer front), hinges (I found an option that didn’t require a cup – just wasn’t sure I could do that correctly!), and how to fix tearout on the edge of plywood (like the coverup piece which helps to set off the side). This little cabinet holds a rollout shelf with a small clothes hamper. Then there is a drawer to deal with all the stuff that tends to be in the way on the counter of the mudroom. Painted the case to match the other cabinets already in the room, but wanted the top to match the tones in the room so did a glue up of cypress. Also did that for the drawer front. Lot of frustration with the drawer and door, but learned a lot and hope, if I have to build either in the future, that I can be better.
