Ash top keifbox

I really like this! Great finish and I love how you kept the knots. I do that also. I think if its part of the plank then use it! My only other comment would be that I believe you installed the Hinges incorrectly. That type is meant to be hidden in the joint so the round part where the hinges connect is hidden where the top and bottom meet!

Thanks guys…Now…Ok, the reason for my making the ‘keifbox’s’ (i have 5 or 6 on lj’s) I was asked to make one by a friend of mine, whom has much to sift!!. He described to me what it did and it’s been a bit of R&D to get a well functioning keifbox. The second reason for my multiple keifbox’s is that I did a little research and saw that they were all very expensive.I know a few stoners….. and they know a lot of stoners…Hopefully I can get rid of a couple ya know$$$. lol, i know the market….hard to find many people that will pay good money unless you know growers, every day consumers usually have more than enough capacity with the ones in their grinders. I would Definitely be careful of finish though, and make sure it’s sealed very well and completely dry, u wouldn’t want to smoke anything touching wet finish…when you get the fit and finish down more, i’d approach smoke shops/cannabis clubs in the area…that’s what i was gonna eventually try to do with some wood bongs…i’ve already had several interests with a brief mention…it’s a niche market that hasn’t been given much attention to by woodworkers i think, and that’s just Fine by me =] lol good luck rick, lemme know your progress if you would…
