A simple rest for your coffee cup or snack. Based on an idea posted on a maker blog (cannot recall the source). Wood strips are bonded using contact cement to canvas (in this case synthetic leather upholstery fabric). Construction allows sides to conform to chair shape and to fold flat when not in use.

Thanks for posting your project. I am disabled and trying to design something just like this for sketching plans while i have to stay in my chair. Looked at hundreds(if not more) on pinterest and google but hadnt seen this design idea. This gives me the last piece of the puzzle i believe.

Great idea, especially with the fabric backing
