Its took 4 month to build, most of the materials made from macassar ebony ( diospyros celebica ).
location Celebes island Indonesia,

This is quite incredible. I can’t imagine building with a material that is this expensive (at least here in the states) and this hard. He must have spent a lot of time sharpening his tools.

I just checked my primary supplier and I see that macassar ebony is selling for just under $100/bf. I also noted that the specific gravity is 1.09. That is one hard, heavy wood.
