Buddy of mine is building a walnut table and asked if I could make some spindles if he gave me the blanks and a pattern.

So I did.

I think spindle work is a really fun way to get good with you tools.

It helped me discover that I need a better spur center than what HF offered. I kept get the spiral indentations when doing a planing cut with a gouge or skew.
