Beautiful work, and epifane is a great finish, too many spare the quality finish because it cost a few extra dollars, I’ve never understood that. You did a great job here.

This was my first time using Epifanes, my only suggestion is to allow at least 3 weeks before you rub it out to the desired sheen. It also cures very slowly… I know that www.jamestowndistributors.com sells an accelerator that speeds the drying process and I assume that you can also use a standard Japan Dryer also. It is a great product and the cost is really not a factor, especially since you thin it so much… a little goes a long way. We will see how it holds up for this client’s piece.

That is some finish you got there!

I think you forgot to telll us about the piece of glass on top! ;)

That is one fine finish you have there. I really like the overall combination and appearance of the entire vanity. Painting the cabinet really seems to have made the walnut stand out. Not that it wouldn’t have stood out anyway with a finish like that!

Very nice!
