wood plane with marquetry

I took a marquetry course from Paul Schurch earlier this year and enjoyed it very much. Since then I have been doing a few projects including this plane. I am restoring a Moultin Bros plane and decided to add marquetry panels with a vine and leaves pattern.

Very nice. There are few things that don’t benefit from a little marquetry.

Wow,would never have thought to add a little marquetry to wood plane resto….very nice!
