Large Picnic Table

I made this picnic table and benches after I saw a very similar design someone else had posted on LJ. Table and benches are cedar and around 10’ long, so it can seat quite a few people. I finished it with an epoxy sealer followed by a marine varnish (based on finish from the Wood Whisperer). Hopefully it will last for years to come.

Very nice looking wood and finish. I had to look again. the way the light caught the wood I thought you had slots in the ends for a new look and it looked good. a new style. you did a great job finishing the pine. Enjoy the compliments.

This is a beautiful picnic table and both the table and the benches are done so nicely.

Very cool. I’ve been wanting to build one myself. Your project has inspired me.

Nice table Josh, must take a couple of young guys to move it.
