Made this television stand over Christmas of ‘09 with the help of my father in-law. The legs are Walnut and Ash and the under support is Spruce.
The top is made from Birch faced plywood with Oak edging. The top is finished with medium walnut stain and then everything has clear shellac on.
Currently it holds a 37” television but it was made to have a flat screen at some point in the future. A removable component rack is in the works for in between the legs of the stand.

I like your design!
I think a flat screen will look more at-home on that, as the lines will mesh better.
I like the ash running down the legs. I think that’s the detail that stands out here, at least, for me.
I’d be curious to see the component rack too.
