It’s always good to keep track and photos of your old works. It serves as a marker on the different stages in your life as a designer and as a craftsman. Here’s one more of my old works. I designed and built this console in 1994. It was this era that I did a lot of sculpting on face drawers for cabinets and consoles. I also played around a lot with lighting effects on interiors of houses to optimize that crumpled, wave look on my designs. I am still waiting on some clients to send in photos of past works like this to share with you guys.

Wood components:

Top: Narra
Face drawers: molave
drawer sides: langka
Legs: saplungan
stretchers: kamagong
drawer pulls: kamagong

Dimensions:
Length 78”
Depth 24”
Height 34”

All woods used in the creation of this piece is recycled or reclaimed as with all of my works.

Beautiful! The carving really sets it off, with the curved legs and lines….....it makes for a very elegant piece of work….......well done as always my wood bud!

Galing naman! Super pinoy. You are well-known of your original curvy design. Hope to see more.

That is awesome sculpting work – how you get the effect to look smooth and wavy is beyond me.

I can only imagine the time you used on this fantastic piece Benji. Flawless work and very original (your trademark).

I like this. I like it very much. I would like to see something much simpler placed on the top of it so as not to detract from the basic piece. I’ve looked at it quite a bit and can find no fault in it except wanting to take my arm and sweep everything off the top. Not only is the “Wave” front special, but the treatment of the end legs that follow through with the theme. Shows a lot of creative thinking and excellent workmanship. Thanks for sharing.
