This was a challenge. It's been rattling around in my head for a while.

Yes, that’s blood. It had me worried for a bit, I didn’t find where it came from. I was alone. It’s weird. Mama said there’d be days like this.

Sapele and maple. 5” wide x 8 ” tall. And a little bit of yellowheart .

Watco Danish oil and wipe on poly. I’ll never again do that. It looks better than the pictures, feels good in the hand, it just took 2 weeks to do the finish. Steve Ramsey says 2 coats of spray lacquer, now I understand.

Wow! Realy impressive project. I realy like the idea for circus theme. I still try to figure complete process.

G’day Hairy ….That is a work of art!!!!! Very well done!!!! Congratulations on such a great project… The colours of the wood blend beautifully.
Also a very practical project which you or someone else will enjoy looking at and using it.
