You might notice the similarity between the last 2 boards I posted and this one. I cut 11 11/2×3/4×36 strips and glue them so each board is 11/2” thick. I cut 2 91/2×14 boards leaving with an 8” piece I add 4 11/2×9” pieces to each end of the 8” piece giving me a 3rd 14” board as seen in this project. My Pelican came out looking like a cross between a Humming Bird and a Pelican. The inlay is white ash.

Nice work! I think it’s recognizable as a pelican and not a hummingbird.
