This is one of those projects where I had this unique slab and had to figure out just the right design to use it.

I kept the base simple in poplar in order to show off the gorgeous cherry top. All finished with hand rubbed oil.

I like your design. The slab stand out beautifully and it was a good idea to keep the base simple and crisp.
