I wanted to get this completed by Fathers Day. I made this from cherry wood that I got when my brother had to cut down a black cherry tree in his yard. I took the logs to a sawmill and then air dried them for a year and a half before using.

Very nice use of a yard tree, I cringe when people remove a tree that’s been on their property for many years and then just send them to the chipper or landfill, so many possible resources going to waste. I like the detailed work especially on the bottom and the glass, nice work.
