I made this music stand for a customer who had a maple and purpleheart harp. I love the contrast and she was pleased with the results.

Very nice, Kate.
Love the wood combination… you can NEVER go wrong with maple and purpleheart!
I especially like the horizontal curly against the vertical.

Very nice.

A music stand is on my to-do list and so I always check out the other music stands that appear on this site. I really like the clean, simple lines in this music stand. I may try this with curly maple and bubinga.

Nice looking stand. It is also on my list to make. I have looked at alot of different ways to make the top and yours looks really good.

Very nice design, Kate. I like the geometry of the lines.
If I had a music stand like this, I would be tempted to take up serious music again.

I’m with Ellen: I like the curly maple set perpendicular to the other curly maple.
