Night Stand

Decided to make a Night Stand for myself with some left over Red Oak and Birch Plywood. I included a hidden drawer underneath the top which is opened by a cantilevered lever in the back. Works great and was a fun build.
Work really sped up, so I had to cut corners and decide to live with things, just to finish and be able to use it. As my seamstress wife says, Finished is better than perfect.
No plans, just some thoughts out of my Noggin. Looks fantastic in person.
Have no idea why the pics are in Landscape.

Very nice!

FYI…. to keep the LJ site from flipping your pics, do a minor edit of the picture before uploading.. (like crop it slightly)

This has happened to many of us!

Thanks for the info!!! And the kind word everybody. College and raising daughters has limited my time in my Break-down garage/shop, but the baby just turned 18, so I’m hoping to learn some handsaw boxes!!!

Nicely done.

Most likely taken with iPhone and posted. Happens most often this way. But sometimes with Android.

That’s a nice stain color. That open shelf is a great idea.
