I took a workshop with Eli Avisera at Arrowmont a few years ago and I put three techniques he taught into one project. The inlays at the bottom of the bowl are really easy to do. The finial is one of my favorites. I’ve done them over 16” tall of blackwood.

Your project looks very nice and impressive. What is it used for? it looks almost too delicate to touch. Excellent work.

how did you do the inlay on the bottom? Would you mind posting a step by step process?
