This is the Toddler bed I just finished for my grandson. It is all native NH cherry that I picked out at the sawmill myself. The rails attach to the head and foot boards with connector blots and cross dowels so it can be disassembled, but all other joints are glued mortise and tenon. The design is my own, but I borrowed rather heavily on design elements from the crib my brother and I made for my granddaughter last year. Those plans were from an old Wood magazine. I’ll post pictures of that project when I get a chance. Needless to say, Weston loved his new “big boy” bed, as did his parents.

Very pretty bed. My first guess was cedar. Someday I’ll have grandkids to build for…...

Really beautiful project. That one looks like it will be passed down more than a few generations.
