I recently built this Applewood spatula from some apple trees in my backyard that were not producing like they should have. Overall, I personally was not hugely impressed with the grain off the wood… this may have been because the trees were only around seven years old. However, it made a nice spatula! Finished with Watco Butcher Block oil. Thanks for looking!

Nice!

I like it well enough; that I am going to have to try something like that from the apple that I have lying in the firewood pile.
