Steve, At the direction of my LJ buddy Martyn, I cut the red oak and walnut into strips, glued the strips in an alternating pattern, cut them a second time and continued on that path until I cam up with what you see. The fron and back of the box is cut on 15 degree angles.

This is brilliant Cozmo. Sides and all. Looks like you’re on a roll here.
You’ve set yourself a sharp learning curve there and you haven’t fallen off yet. Not that I think you will. Keep it coming, mate. More power to your elbow.
Oh and I guess you’ve discovered this for yourself, already, this sort of thing can become addictive.
