This is a simple, yet elegant design made for a young lady who wanted to treat herself to something nice and yet practical. She liked the dark rich colors of the Claro Black Walnut and decided to go all the way with the figured Cherry. I added a collar of Brazilian Ebony which looks similar to the Claro Black Walnut as it has yet to oxidize to a dark chocolate brown. The handle is approximately 6 inches long with a slender tapered shape to give ample grip. The contrasting side dowels give a little accent to the design. She seemed pleased with the outcome and I think she will be the Cat’s Meow at her retirement community.

the colors on my monitor must be screwy as it comes in looking very light..but looks good anyway! She will be the belle of the ball in her retirement community with this beauty. Might get you a commission or two, as her friends may need a gorgeous cane too!

The grain in the handle is gorgeous, Meilie, and the contrasting pins really bring the wood colors together!

Another beautiful functioning work of art!

This one has an extra something that especially appeals to me. I can absolutely understand why the lady would want to treat herself to one of your canes.

Beautiful cane. Lots of nice ones on your website too. Could you explain in more detail the joinery between the handle and shaft? I’d also like to know what hardware, etc., you use for the bottom of the cane.
