finished another growth chart, really fell in love with this one. Went more overboard on the carving because I was having too much fun, planning on reusing that carving or similar carving in another project because I liked it so much. My wife found this unique cherry board, actually looks more like tulip wood the way it has very harsh grain lines with colored striations that is hard to see in the photos, and with how dark the cherry is even being freshly sanded, once ages its going to be stunning. really loved everything about this project, haven’t spoken to the mother yet so I’m waiting to see her response to this chart (shes the owl fan).
