paduak sabers

my dad has been practicing “fencing”? with sabers, I dont know if thats called something else, but he asked me to make him some wooden practice swords to practice with, so I had a paduak board that was warped on one end pass the point of usability, but one end was flat enough to whip these 2 swords out that was made from a template from his saber. Lotta shaping with a angle grinder with sanding disc, and a lot and a lot and even more red dust. think the shape came out good and were comfortable to use, let see if this was a mistake and if I need to make a cane next…

Good stuff. I would be careful. I had some padauk molding that split easily along the grain when dropped.
