Media Cabinet

My son asked me to help him build a media cabinet for his bedroom. He found an Ana White plan and we used that as the basic plan. The hardware we bought required a taller apron. He and I built it and he and his wife painted and stained it. We brought it in their bedroom, installed the top and hung the doors this afternoon. The hardest part was installing the barn door hardware and setting up the track.

My granddaughter Charlee wanted to help out so she helped hand us pockets screws during assembly.

My clients were very pleased.

Love the design. Great help you got there.

-- Mother Nature created it, I just assemble it.

That’s Nice Don. That’s like a mini version of a job I just bid. Hardware from Amazon?

Thanks for the nice comments!

BillM—Yes, my son did get the hardware from Amazon. They are 250-lb rollers for those 30-lb doors. The doors do roll very smoothly.

Thanks, majuvia. The Ana White website (ana-white.com) has a lot of good material to trigger project ideas.

Gary—Charlee turned 3 years old in April. We just learned a few weeks ago that she is going to be a big sister!
