Nothing special; just beautiful old barnwood and a couple of leftover Jatoba and veneer plywood panel pieces…ah!, and a 3” hex bolt washers and nut. it was a gift to my wife. is use now to store some of her books.

The beauty of your gift is simple but has such life! You have shown well the working of the wood!

A very nice use of old barn wood, it is always such a treat to take wood that has character and fashion it into a nice piece of furniture. Good job!

Nothing like time and mother nature to give a unique touch to wood. Also recycling wood and somebody else’s very hard work is always good. I have given a couple of old doors more and I’ve been thinking how to preserve their ancient woodwork and make a new piece of furniture with it. I hope I can post that project soon from begining to end.
Have your say...
