New Pork Pie Reso Cigar Box Guitar – Don Pepin box with a Walnut and Maple neck with gold frets, 25 inch scale, gold Les Paul style tuners, hand spun brass reso cone with a hand fashioned brass tailpiece. Biscuit bridge pickup with brass saddle, Buffalo bone nut. Completed with Linseed Oil and several coats of a wiping varnish, creates a very close to the wood finish.
This was the first time to use the wiping varnish, diluted then at full strength, I really like it compared to the brush ons I have tried in the past.

Another great looking CBG Porkpie. I’ve got to get a reso in the works.
