nothing too fancy yet. no patterns or brass. had some extra old lumber left from 90’s. I forget now what kind it was. i was told it is oak but it’s too soft and has some nice patterns. had used most of it making a bed. few pieces left all warped in Houston humid and hot weather. decided to cut it up and make something. not having a band-saw sure makes things more difficult. had to use 10.5 inch thing kerf saw blade to splice the wood before running it through 4th of July planner. it’s light enough to add a shoulder strap but will leave it as is for now.

Absolutely not Oak, looks like walnut to me. Nice job on the quiver.

Maybe Butternut, looks a lot like walnut but it is softer.

it came from convertible futon bed back in late 85 actually now that i think about it not 90’s. my bed in a CA apt. and i remember asking the guy what it was. he said oak but some parts the sides i think might’ve been oaks but these were the slats so I’m sure they didn’t use anything expensive even if real wood was 90 percent less expensive back then.

These containers are nicely done and are very appropriate for these arrows.
