This is a box made for a young lady by the name of Carley .
She has seen several boxes I have made and fell in love with a previous box I made
but it also needed the diamond pattern which she is very found of .
Well here is the box for her with a diamond pattern panel in the lid .
The box is made from Maple and Jatoba ( Brazilian Cherry ) with a tray that I inserted a small little medallion into the handle ,a pair of SOSS barrel hinges and velour liners .

Wow! What a beautiful looking box. Your designs just keep on getting better and better Klaus. The contrast is amazing. The Maple and Cheery rally work well together. And that diamond pattern with the fancy corners adds some very nice detail. I’m sure Carley will love this gem of a box.

Dam! thats a nice looking box, especially love the handle on the tray. Feels very Egyption and Eye of Raw to me for some reason.

Nice work Klaus. I’m sure that’s why Carley loves it so much. Perfect details on the tray only make it better.
You sure are getting your moneys worth on the diamond pattern jig.
