I rough turned this birch bowl several years ago and recently found it hiding under my work bench. The finished piece exhibits quite a large amount of chatoyance and literally sparkles in the sunlight. About 9 inches in diameter and 3/8 wall thickness.

This bowl is a beautiful piece and so nicely done and I love the interesting piece of wood that it came out of.
