Rolling Miter Cart (aka "The Kapex Throne")

In remodeling my shop, I was able to pick up some Mahogany cutoffs for a very good price. I was building this miter cart at the moment and figured, why not? Made an 8/4 top with 4/4 drawer fronts to contrast the 8/4 maple paneled frame, and threw it all on 3” casters. Even made a cutout on the bag to route my 36mm hose to my CT26.

All drawers are on softclose slides, finished off with 3 coats of Arm-R-Seal for a beautiful look! I almost would hate to put this into service, but it was a pleasure to build for sure!

Elegant and yet functional. Excellent execution. Puts most shops to shame!

Beautiful design. I have my saw on a Home Depot Saw Stand. This is much nicer.

That looks too awesome to be a miter cart! Haha! To think that such a beautiful finish on the storage doors would be on a heavy duty machine like this… Only people like us can appreciate the kind of work that goes into doing up one of our tools with more handiwork! Haha!
