I found a pic of this table on the net and the artist who made it was selling them, the difference is that his was painted and mine isn’t. Anyway I liked it a lot so I thought I would copy it and it works great to for the sculpture we purchased for our family room and it goes with the style we are looking for with the rest of the furn, its made from walnut and maple, the maple is two pieces bookmatched with a walnut inlay on the edges.
I made this project last winter as well.

I would say that the pedestal is a better piece of art than the piece art which sits upon it!

Beautiful piece, the artwork compliments the table – or is it that the table compliments the artwork. Anyway, they look great together.
