I was inspired to build this table based on one i found in finewoodworking but in the end it wound up looking not much like the one I found. We were trying to design our furn in our family room so each piece would be decidedly different but sort of the same and this is what we came up with for the room. Its made from walnut and western quilted maple.

I am a big fan of contrasting color and quilted maple. I like the handmade pulls too. Nice work.

This is a truly beautiful piece. The wood choices you made are wonderful. What did you use to finish this?

Really nice. I wish I could afford to get that nice of maple down here. A different design.

Exquisite piece of furniture. I really like the offset legs, the pulls, the wood selection and the finish – I guess I really like the table. Thanks for posting.
