Birch plywood w/ walnut bowl

This is my first bowl. It is made out of Birch plywood with walnut for the top and bottom rim.

That one ply in the plywood that is extra dark really catches your eye in a good way.

Very good job for your first bowl. Plywood is not fun to turn but is very eye catching. Well done.

Thanks for all the great comments. I had a fun time making this bowl. Believe it or not the plywood wasn’t that bad to work with. I will be making more of these bowls as gifts for the upcoming holiday season.

Agree with Tony C. Never seen bowl made out of plywood, but man that turned out nice. Good job.
