1930’s Truck.. three variations of which this is one. Made primarily of Pine with Meranti highlights.
My limited skill and tools made this a challenging build, but the end result is pleasing.

Thank you.. i am by no means professional but I do the best I can to bring out the natural quality of the wood. I have an awful lot to learn.. but that’s part of the fun

The truck is well made and still a very good replica; while also remaining usable to play with too.

Toy making is a joy of it’s own.

Look over the “designs” and then look for how they really should be and make them THAT WAY!

This is exactly my personal mission statement. I didn’t want to go into too much detail. It adds hours of man hours that ultimately cost the client additional funds.. and more importantly I don’t want my work to sit on a shelf.. I want them to be played with. Retro is back in, I intend on taking full advantage of that in the work that I do. Thank you for your kind words they mean a great deal.

This is an outstanding model and displays a lot of nice details and craftsmanship.

Hi Crowie, sorry for late reply.. the plans were from an Australian chap called Peter Aschenbrenner from his website www.aschisworkshop.com/ downloadable in PDF format. Theyre easy to follow and concise..

Glad you liked this build it was a pleasure to make. PS It sold well too! ;)
