A Christmas gift for my father-in-law. Reclaimed barnwood frame with reclaimed four-point barbed wire attached with reclaimed fencing staples. Don’t you love the word “reclaimed”? So much better than “old”, “rusty”, “used”. The mirror was not reclaimed. We shipped this FedEx, and it arrived undamaged!

That is an impressive frame and mirror. If your father-in-law doesn’t like it – for whatever reason – just let me know and I’ll send my address, I really like it!

Very nice! Reclaimed is a beautiful word and usually less expensive than “new”

Unique, eyecatching (if you get too close!), wacky; I like that a lot. I’ve noticed they’re using the word ‘pre-owned’ over here instead of ‘used’ or ‘second-hand’.

Very creative piece. I’m sure that the style of this has some special meaning to the recipient.

“Pre-owned”, “gently used”, “new to you” ... I’m sure there are many more!

It’s not the sort of thing I usually build, but it was fun.

Throw a rusty set of spurs and a chunk of horse hide on it and you’d think you live in the cowboy country.
