This is a dog paw picture frame made out of mdf. i cut and used my hand held router for the picture slots but waiting for some clear acrylic to act like glass. I am not sure what finish to put on it so if you have any ideas please comment so i have a good idea what to do.

That is really cool. I would stain/paint it the same color as the furniture or picture frames that it may reside by so that is matches. The raw look does look good in the pictures though. Great project. I may have to make a few of these for Christmas presents this year. Where did you get the pattern or is this free hand?

Love the paw, you could use that same idea for so many things. Put a lid on it and you have a box with compartments you could also use it as a serving tray for dip and biscuits!

Getting back to your question tho -Having said it was MDF, it really has to be painted. I would go a strong colour, prob black as that would look good as surrounds to your photos.

Great little frame! How much would you charge to make another one? What are the dimensions?

I like that one as well. I agree withTheresa that design could be used for many things. I hope you will share with us where you found the pattern.
