This jewelry box was a custom commission that If I ever build again, I will have to rethink the pricing stage. We’ve all been there right? Anyway the drawers each have a variety of layout options using hard maple for dividers. The side features a swing door, that hinges on 3/16 brass rod stock that I cut to fit. The interior of that portion has hooks for necklaces and stuff. The bottom and top were joined to the body of the piece using mortise and tenon joinery. Finally the mahogany pulls for the drawers were hand carved. Finished in Tung Oil.
