I guess this is a shallow bowl, not a plate or a platter. 8.75” X 1.5”. The Cedar has bark inclusions that aren’t solid. The oil and Poly leaked through in a half dozen spots. If I hold the bowl just right I can see light through some of them. Bark inclusions may not be the right description for this but it describes it well.

Yellow Cedar burl, I would think they would be quite rare, only available on the coast. nice.
