I made this small cane from hickory and walnut. It started off as a walking stick for my little girl,(in Eastern Kentucky almost everyone has a walking stick) but I cut the shaft to short so this is what I ended up with. Not to handy as a cane but makes an interesting back scratch-er. Now, off to make a walking stick. This time I will measure it before I cut it.

-- You will never build it unless you try. The second one always turns out better.

It’s a back scratcher Jim! :-) Does look good.
