It seems that my inlaws are recieving the primary benefit of my hobby. This summer I redid their family room bringing it from 1978 to today. It is hard to believe the transformation. Being their house is build on a slab, there is limited storage space so I rebuild the pantry with a pocket door and game them some shelving to organize with. I also provided 3 built in units, 2 for storage/display and 1 for media unit. They are quit happy with the end result.

Great Job. It’s good to get on the good side of the in-laws.

Brandon,

Way to use your woodworking talent to improve the home of your in-laws. I’ll bet you’re their favorite son-in-law now! Nice work.

I like the work, but I especially love the shot of Bret Favre on the TV screen. 7-1…What a season for a 38 year old quarterback who has started every game for the last 17 seasons.

Being the favorite son-in-law is easy….I am the only one :-)

Not to mention that they love the new room. Now I just need to start doing some of that stuff around here for my wife.

That is a nice job. Don’t know what the room looked like before you started, but it looks great now.

Hey, this is great stuff. But what’s wrong with 1978???? :-)
