L-Shaped Cherry Desk

Hey all!

I completed a desk for my son and finally got around to posting the latest updates. You can see the desk above, it was designed to tuck into a corner of my kids’ bedroom. Corners are cut off for three reasons—first, cause kids have a tendency to run eye-first into a corner. Second, the back one allows me room to tuck cables from computer equipment without having to move the desk far from the wall (provided the cables are long enough). And third, I think it looks cool.

It’s made out of cherry, finished with a wipe-on poly, and all edges are chamfered for comfort and looks.

If you’re curious about the build, I've been posting in my blog as I built it.
