Here’s another cutting board I forgot to post.
It’s a quilt pattern with purpleheart, maple, and padauk.
Once again the picture was a last minute shoot with a cell phone,
hence the poor quality.
The size is 16” x 12” x 1 1/2” .
The grain patterns on this board were interesting.
The purpleheart grain made “X” patterns when glued up.
I don’t think the picture shows this.

I like it. The small picture shows a really different feel of the design. Seems like some quilts need to be viewed from a distance. Neat.

Nice design, Lisa. Making boards makes me look at quilts with a different eye.
The padauk looks good with the purpleheart.

I like the pattern here for something a bit different.

Did you put handles in the sides, or feet on the bottom?
