Organic Feel II

My theory for this box was to draw the onlooker into it and force them to feel its smoothness
I succeeded I think. Every passerby at last weekends craft fair caressed this one.
The body is black walnut and the lid and bottom are both waterfall bubinga.
Rather then using handles or hardware I carved the finger holes into the body of the box to keep with the organic theme

great looking wood selection.
I like the carved finger hole and spline detailing.

Great looking box – anything made of walnut must be good, by definition. Add wf bubinga and you just have to have a winner. Nice job. You said everyone had to handle the box – didn’t anyone buy it?
