We’re working on a couple of big tables …. In the first thumbnail, you can see the 20’ x 8’ table in the front, and behind it, the 26’ x9’ table … We’re partnering on this project with my negihbor and fellow woodworker, Steve Holman … The outside of the tables ar 1.125” thick granite, 24” wide, cantilevered off the bases with 1.25×2.5” steel tubing .. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th photos show us assembling the 20’ table in Steve’s shop and then there is Trevor, my cnc operator lying on the end of the 26’ table … More and bigger photos and info on a couple of posts on my blog... These are Big Ones …

Those are incredible.
How do you intend to get them out of your shop and to there final resting place.

Wow. Those are big! I’ve been in a lot of conference rooms and usually big tables like this are just made up of a bunch of smaller ones bolted together. With Granite on top of those they are going to weigh a couple of tons!

The table is outstanding!! But I must laugh a bit when I see the last picture with the chain saw under the table. Is that for the next time Trevor lies down on the table? Haha
