here we have a sprint car …made from Gatto Plans …....paddauk walnut and maple…. took about 50 hours …if I build another I will certainly change some things around …..Hope you Enjoy :<))

Way cool and nicely done sprint car.
Great job on the wheels, the way you striped it and being able to take the wing off, when I was making mine I thought it looked better with out the wing. [just me]
And the two tone wings makes it just right.

What was so troublesome in the plans?

I always wondered about the wing on these sprint cars, do the actually work?
I found out at a RC race track where one of the 1/8 scale racers lost his wing and subsequently all control.

that’s correct around 7 inches long
problem for me was the headers and the 3/32 dowels to extend out sides of frame
and yes wings keep them on the ground ..if you never seen them race you should watch it pretty cool :<))
