A solution to a RV storage issue

RV travel can be anything but smooth. We have resorted to using a plastic container with paper towels between glasses to avoid breakage. Even though out of sight in the cupboard, I decided that I could do better than that. I made this little container out of poplar and used a piece of leftover flooring for the base. The divider can be removed for cleaning. The bottom cutouts on the corners are due to a mistake in attempting to do a spline. I decided to make this a “design feature” rather than start over so made a cut up all the sides for a shadow line. Ends up I sort of like the look…seriously… :)

Oh, sort of like these type of jobs. Next on “the list” is a organization station to place on the table for my husband’s glucose monitor plus paper/pencils and tv remote (all the items that give “clutter” to an already limited space). Nice excuse to head to the shop.

Nice! I like the removable dividers. I may borrow the feature! Thanks for sharing, BB1.

I had contemplated making it permanent but ended up going this route in case we change our the glasses. This is the divider.

This is a nice practical box which will serve it’s purpose well.

Good idea. I know what you mean about glasses hitting each other while rambling down the road.!!
