This is the White Tail Deer “See Creature” that I designed in it’s natural wood state. The original pattern was made from MDF and painted. But after realizing that many woodworkers didn’t take kindly to painting wood, I made a deer which was intended to by displayed in its’ altogether! This was made from Oak, with Walnut antlers. I used 3/4” Oak and 1/4” Walnut. It is finished with mineral oil and paste wax, but you can spray it with poly or your favorite finish if you want. It is quick, easy and fun and sure to be a great conversation piece! (Oh, you could also hang these on a wall to hold your shop glasses!)

Great idea and they look good without the glasses too….................

I could see them holding my ear protection and dust mask too, off the antlers…..............

Sheila, now that’s real nice. :) I like it a lot and , hey, that’s not a bad idea about a shop keeper for your glasses. Keep that creative mind of yours rolling. :)

Do you have a pattern you’d be willing to share?
