Cake/pastry serving platter. About 11” diameter and 5” tall. Hard maple and walnut. Rim decoration made with Sorby texturing tool and the painted with acrylic paint. Overall finish is rattle can lacquer. This one does not have a Lazy Susan function.

That came out awesome lew!
Love that rim detail and your choice of coloring and finish are always top-notch.

I just have to get into wood turning. It would fit the size of my shops, among other things.

I just finished a low budget pine dining room table for a rental. Will be posting it sooner or later…

That is really nice and something not often seen on this site.
The hard maple will last for a long time, at least until someone cuts too deep.
