Great job turning such a utilitarian and mundane fixture into something that’s actually nice to look at! It also looks like it diffuses the light well.

Thanks for the comments. knothead: I was replacing an existing light fixture so the wiring was already there. If the power was not there I would have just fished it in the wall. Now granted I do electrical work to pay for my woodworking habit so my estimation of the difficulty may be a bit skewed.
